Clinical pregnancy

A pregnancy confirmed on ultrasound.

A clinical pregnancy means a gestational sac, and usually a heartbeat, has been seen on scan. Clinics report clinical pregnancy rates and live birth rates; the live birth rate per cycle started is the most meaningful figure for patients.
