Ovarian reserve

The number of eggs remaining in the ovaries.

Ovarian reserve is estimated with an AMH blood test and an antral follicle count on ultrasound. It predicts how the ovaries are likely to respond to stimulation; it does not measure egg quality or rule out natural conception.
