India ART regulation
The Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021 sets the legal framework for assisted reproduction in India, including registration of ART clinics and ART banks, consent, record keeping and reporting. It is administered through the Department of Health Research, and the associated Rules are amended from time to time by notification.
