Bilateral tubal blockage

Bilateral tubal blockage means both tubes are obstructed, which rules out natural conception and IUI. IVF, which bypasses the tubes entirely, is the usual recommended path once bilateral blockage is confirmed on imaging or laparoscopy. The underlying cause (infection, tuberculosis, endometriosis, prior surgery) is still worth identifying where possible, since it can affect other aspects of care, such as whether a hydrosalpinx should be addressed before embryo transfer.
