National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)

The authority regulating health insurance in Nigeria.

The NHIA oversees health insurance schemes and accredits health maintenance organisations. Fertility treatment is generally not included in standard benefit packages, so most assisted conception in Nigeria is self-funded.
