Method

  1. Step 1. Loosen the pap paste with a little cool water until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Step 2. Pour on the boiling water in a steady stream, stirring constantly, until thickened and glossy.
  3. Step 3. Boil the eggs for 8–10 minutes until the yolk and white are firm, then peel and halve.
  4. Step 4. Stir the pasteurised milk into the pap if using.
  5. Step 5. Serve the pap with the egg, avocado and chopped fruit alongside.
