Method

  1. Step 1. Heat the oven to 150°C (130°C fan). Stir the rice, milk, sugar and vanilla in a baking dish and grate the nutmeg over.
  2. Step 2. Bake for 90 minutes, stirring once after 30 minutes, until creamy and set.
  3. Step 3. Meanwhile simmer the apple and pear with the cinnamon and 100 ml of water for 12 minutes.
  4. Step 4. Serve the pudding hot with the stewed fruit.
