Method

  1. Step 1. Put the pears in a saucepan with the orange juice, zest, cinnamon stick, honey and 300 ml of water.
  2. Step 2. Simmer gently, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
  3. Step 3. Lift out the pears and reduce the liquid for a few minutes to make a light syrup.
  4. Step 4. Serve with yoghurt, the syrup and chopped walnuts.
