Our recipes use a 15 ml tablespoon. The standard Australian tablespoon holds 20 ml, so use three level teaspoons where a tablespoon is listed.

Method

  1. Step 1. Soften the onion, carrot and celery in the oil for ten minutes.
  2. Step 2. Add the garlic and oregano, then the lentils, tomatoes and stock.
  3. Step 3. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the lentils are soft.
  4. Step 4. Blend partly for a thicker texture, or leave chunky.
