Ingredients

Our recipes use a 15 ml tablespoon. The standard Australian tablespoon holds 20 ml, so use three level teaspoons where a tablespoon is listed.

This recipe contains foods that can contribute to a varied and balanced diet during pregnancy.

Method

  1. Step 1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the salmon for four to five minutes each side, until it flakes easily and is opaque and steaming hot throughout.
  2. Step 2. Warm the cooked brown rice until steaming hot.
  3. Step 3. Divide the rice between bowls and top with washed spinach, cucumber and avocado.
  4. Step 4. Flake the hot salmon over the top, squeeze over the lemon juice and finish with sesame seeds.
