Unsuccessful treatment

Deciding what comes next after cycles that have not worked.

Pregnancy after treatment

Stopping, pausing or changing direction are all legitimate choices, and there is no obligation to continue while resources and wellbeing are being exhausted. A review appointment should cover what was learned, realistic chances of another attempt, and alternatives including donor gametes, adoption and living without children. Counselling support is available through clinics and community organisations across Canada.
