Method

  1. Step 1. Heat the oven to 180°C and line a 20 cm square pan.
  2. Step 2. Mix the oats, flour, cranberries and walnuts in a bowl.
  3. Step 3. Stir in the maple syrup, oil and beaten egg until evenly moistened.
  4. Step 4. Press firmly into the pan and bake for 22–25 minutes until golden.
  5. Step 5. Cool completely before cutting into 12 bars.
