Method

  1. Step 1. Cook the onion until soft, add the turkey and brown, breaking it up well.
  2. Step 2. Add the grated potato, broth and spices and simmer for 20 minutes until thick. Cool.
  3. Step 3. Heat the oven to 200°C. Line a pie dish with pastry and fill with the cooled mixture.
  4. Step 4. Top with the second crust, seal, cut steam vents and bake for 35–40 minutes until deep golden.
  5. Step 5. Check the centre reaches 74°C before serving.
