Employer fertility benefit

An employer fertility benefit is a scheme offered by some employers in India that may help employees with the cost of fertility investigations or treatment, or provide leave or flexible working arrangements around appointments and procedures. These benefits are not universal, vary widely between organisations, and are usually set out in an employee handbook or group insurance policy rather than in law. If your employer offers a benefit, ask human resources for the written policy covering what is included, any eligibility conditions, confidentiality protections, and how it interacts with your regular health insurance.
