Designated service provider

A designated service provider, or DSP, is a hospital, pharmacy or practitioner the scheme has an arrangement with. Using a non-DSP often triggers a co-payment even for benefits that are otherwise covered, including prescribed minimum benefit conditions. Check whether your clinic, pharmacy and hospital are DSPs before booking.
