The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority registers and monitors medicines, medical devices and related products, and publishes safety communications and recalls. Fertility medicines used in South Africa should be SAHPRA-registered products supplied through a licensed pharmacy; SAHPRA is also where suspected substandard or falsified products and adverse reactions are reported.
