Pregnancy loss
A D&C, sometimes called suction curettage or ERPC, removes remaining pregnancy tissue under anaesthetic. It is one of three options alongside waiting and medical management. Tissue can often be sent for chromosomal testing, which may explain the loss and inform future care.
