Conditions
Asherman syndrome is adhesion of the uterine walls, usually after surgery, infection or repeated curettage. It causes light or absent periods and can prevent implantation. Treatment is hysteroscopic division of the adhesions, sometimes with measures to stop them re-forming, followed by reassessment of the cavity.
