Testing
Hysteroscopy passes a fine telescope through the cervix to look directly at the uterine cavity. It can diagnose and often treat polyps, fibroids protruding into the cavity, adhesions or a septum in the same procedure. It may be done in a clinic setting or under anaesthetic in a day-surgery unit.
