Conditions
Polyps are usually benign growths of endometrium that can cause spotting between periods and may reduce implantation. They are found on ultrasound, saline sonography or hysteroscopy, and are removed hysteroscopically as a short day procedure — often before starting IVF or an embryo transfer.
