Fertility awareness methods

Tracking cycle signs to identify fertile days.

Cycle and ovulation

Fertility awareness methods combine cycle length, cervical mucus changes and basal body temperature — sometimes with ovulation tests — to identify the fertile window. They cost little and build useful understanding of your own cycle, but they are less reliable when cycles are irregular.

Also known as: FAM, natural fertility tracking, symptothermal method
