Treatment
A frozen embryo transfer uses an embryo vitrified in an earlier cycle. The lining is prepared either in a natural cycle tracked by scans, or a medicated cycle using oestrogen and progesterone. Outcomes are comparable with fresh transfer, and FET now accounts for the majority of Australian transfers.
