Medicated FET cycle

In a medicated or hormone replacement cycle, oestrogen thickens the lining and progesterone is added a set number of days before transfer, giving precise scheduling. It suits irregular cycles and clinic timetables, but requires strict adherence to the medication schedule, since the body is not producing these hormones itself.
