Costs and funding
Providers should give you a clear written breakdown of fees, expected rebates and your likely out-of-pocket cost before treatment starts, including anaesthetist and hospital charges billed separately. If you have not received one, ask — it is reasonable to expect it in writing and to take time to consider it.
