Costs and funding
Your out-of-pocket cost is the difference between what you are charged and what Medicare and any private cover pay back. For IVF it includes the clinic gap, anaesthetist and day-hospital fees, medicines, and any add-ons or genetic testing. Ask for a written estimate for a full cycle rather than a per-item figure.
