Testing
Laparoscopy involves small abdominal incisions and a camera, performed under general anaesthetic. It remains the definitive way to diagnose and treat endometriosis, adhesions and some tubal disease. It is not part of routine early fertility testing and is recommended selectively, based on symptoms and scan findings.
