Treatment
Mild stimulation uses lower gonadotrophin doses or tablets, aiming for a smaller number of eggs with fewer side effects and lower drug costs. Live birth rates per cycle are generally lower than conventional stimulation, so it is a trade-off to discuss rather than automatically gentler in outcome terms.
