Mosaic embryo

PGT-A sometimes reports a mixture of chromosomally normal and abnormal cells. Some mosaic embryos have resulted in healthy births, and many clinics will consider transferring them after genetic counselling, usually after prioritising any euploid embryos. The result reflects the cells biopsied, not necessarily the whole embryo.
