Costs and funding
Hospital cover at an appropriate tier may pay day-hospital and some in-hospital costs for assisted reproductive services, subject to waiting periods — typically 12 months for pregnancy-related and ART services. Extras cover does not pay for IVF. Check your policy specifically for assisted reproductive services before assuming you are covered.
