Male fertility
Motility is reported as total motility and progressive motility — sperm moving purposefully forward. Progressive motility matters most for natural conception and IUI. Delays in getting the sample to the laboratory, or exposure to cold, artificially lower motility, which is one reason samples are usually produced on site.
