Vasectomy reversal restores sperm to the ejaculate in many men, with success falling as the time since vasectomy increases. It allows natural conception if successful, and is sometimes compared with sperm retrieval plus ICSI — the better choice depends on the female partner's age and fertility as much as on the surgery itself.
