Follicle tracking

During ovulation induction, IUI or IVF stimulation, scans every few days measure how many follicles are growing and how large they are. The results guide medication doses and the timing of the trigger injection. Follicle size does not guarantee a mature egg inside, so counts on scan and eggs collected often differ.
