Pregnancy after treatment
Around one in five recognised pregnancies ends in miscarriage, most often because of a chromosomal error in the embryo that nothing could have prevented. Management may be expectant, medical or surgical, and the choice is yours in most situations. Heavy bleeding soaking more than a pad an hour, fainting or severe pain needs emergency assessment.
