Eggs, sperm & embryos
Sperm freezing is quick, well established and used before cancer treatment, before gender-affirming hormone therapy, before vasectomy, when a partner cannot be present on retrieval day, and for donor samples. Samples are quarantined and screened according to Health Canada requirements when they are to be used by another person.
