Frozen embryo transfer fee

A frozen embryo transfer (FET) fee covers preparing the uterine lining, thawing the embryo, and the transfer procedure itself, and is charged separately from the original IVF cycle that created the embryo. Some clinics quote medicated and natural-cycle FET protocols at different prices because medicated cycles use more monitoring and medicines. When budgeting for IVF, remember that a fresh cycle quote does not usually include a future frozen embryo transfer, which may be needed if the first transfer is unsuccessful or if a freeze-all approach is recommended for medical reasons.
