Treatment package

A treatment package (sometimes called a 'package price') is a single quoted amount that a clinic offers to cover a defined set of services, such as one IVF cycle with a certain number of monitoring scans. Packages can make planning easier, but the value depends entirely on what is included and excluded. Before agreeing to a package, ask specifically whether medicines, anaesthesia, laboratory fees, embryo freezing, PGT, and any repeat procedures are included, and what happens if the cycle is cancelled or converted (for example, to a freeze-all cycle) partway through. Ask what a 'refund' or 'multi-cycle' package actually guarantees, since success cannot be promised for any individual patient. Get the inclusions and exclusions in writing, and compare packages against a plain itemised estimate rather than by headline price alone.
