A temperature excursion is any period where a medicine has been warmer or colder than its approved range, including accidental freezing. Do not simply discard or use the medicine on assumption: note how long and how far outside the range it went, keep it refrigerated, and phone your pharmacy or clinic for advice on whether it can still be used.
