The Australian Government commissioned a rapid review of ART and IVF regulation and accreditation after serious clinic incidents. It reported in 2025, and health ministers accepted its direction, including moving towards independent accreditation and more consistent national oversight. Implementation is continuing, so specific arrangements may change.
