Testing
Chlamydia often causes no symptoms but can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and tubal damage. Testing is a simple urine or swab sample and is recommended as part of fertility assessment, particularly for people under 30 or with a history of pelvic infection. Treatment is a short course of antibiotics for both partners.
