Donor conception
Embryo donation allows people who have completed their family to give surplus embryos to others. Everyone with consent rights must agree, counselling is required for both parties, and the resulting child has the same rights to information about their genetic origins as any donor-conceived person. Assisted reproductive treatment, donor and surrogacy law differs between Australian states and territories. Check the rules that apply where you live and where your clinic is located.
