Australian clinics provide counsellors with fertility-specific training, and counselling is mandatory before donor treatment and surrogacy. It also helps with decisions about stopping treatment, relationship strain, grief and anxiety. Sessions through the clinic are often included in fees; ask what is available before you feel you need it.
