Treatment
Embryo transfer is a short outpatient procedure using a soft catheter guided by abdominal ultrasound, usually with a comfortably full bladder and no anaesthetic. It generally feels like a cervical screening test. Normal activity can resume straight afterwards — bed rest does not improve outcomes.
