Testing
A first round of Australian fertility investigation usually includes a GP history and examination, blood tests for ovulation and thyroid function, AMH where relevant, rubella and other immunity checks, cervical screening if due, a pelvic ultrasound, a tubal test, and a semen analysis for the male partner. Results guide whether a referral to a fertility specialist is needed.
