Testing
A pelvic ultrasound checks the shape of the uterus, the appearance of the lining, and the ovaries — including antral follicle count and any cysts, fibroids or endometriomas. It is usually done transvaginally for a clearer view, with an abdominal scan as an alternative if preferred.
