Testing
Hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography passes a foam or contrast through the cervix while an ultrasound watches it travel through the uterus and tubes. It is widely used in Australia, avoids X-rays, and also shows the uterine cavity. Cramping is common during the test, and simple pain relief beforehand usually helps.
