Medicines
Gonadotrophins are the hormones that stimulate the gonads. Injectable gonadotrophin medicines containing FSH, sometimes with LH activity, are the mainstay of IVF stimulation and of some ovulation induction cycles. Doses are individualised and adjusted according to monitoring.
