Treatment
Ovulation induction uses tablets such as letrozole or clomiphene, or low-dose injectable gonadotrophins, to trigger ovulation in people who ovulate irregularly or not at all. Cycles are monitored by ultrasound to check how many follicles develop and to reduce the risk of a multiple pregnancy. It is generally simpler and cheaper than IVF.
