Testing
Thyroid disorders affect ovulation, miscarriage risk and pregnancy outcomes, so TSH is part of standard fertility testing. Both underactive and overactive thyroid are treatable. Thyroid antibodies may also be checked where TSH is borderline or there is a history of recurrent miscarriage.
