Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism

In this form the gonads are capable but under-stimulated, so treatment with gonadotropin injections can often restore sperm production or ovulation. Causes include genetic conditions such as Kallmann syndrome, pituitary tumours and exogenous testosterone or anabolic steroid use.
