IVF & IUI
Ovulation induction is used when ovulation is absent or irregular. Letrozole is the usual first-line choice in Canada, particularly in polycystic ovary syndrome; clomiphene and low-dose gonadotropins are alternatives. Cycles are monitored to reduce the chance of multiple follicles and therefore twins or triplets.
